In a remote setting at an altitude of 3600m, Niti village is located near Southern Tibetan Border in Chamoli District, Uttarakhand. The Niti village and valley have set in a wonderful shadow of the snow-capped mountains. Inhabitants migrate from different villages (in the lower Himalayas) to the valley in the summer from April to October. All kinds of traditional rituals are performed by the community during this period of stay.
