Mana Village, Uttarakhand

Mana is the last Indian village on the border of India and Tibet/China in the Himalayas, located in the Chamoli area. It has been designated as a 'tourist village' by the Uttarakhand government. The Bhotia community resides here. Traces of Hindu mythology, the Mahabharata, are found in Mana. The Pandavas are believed to have passed through Mana on their journey to heaven.
