Kisama, Nagaland
The name KISAMA is formed from two villages, Kigwema and Phesama, and MA, which means Village, on which territory the Naga Heritage Village is created and commissioned by the Naga State Government. The Naga Heritage Village, located approximately 10 kilometers from Kohima, offers a scenic view of nature as well as cheery and kind people. The Heritage Village's goal is to safeguard and maintain all ethnic and cultural heritages by developing a common management method and a comprehensive database for preservation and maintenance in order to promote tourism. It also attempts to preserve and nurture the specific character of Nagland's languages, customs, and traditions.
