PUGGING RURAL TOURISM VILLAGE Pugging is a tiny village surrounded by dense green forest on three sides and the cascading mighty River on one side. The village is inhabited by Adi tribe of Arunachal Pradesh. It is situated 22 km from the district headquater i.e. Yingkiong. The village is connected with all-weather motorable road. The village is having 51 houses and 365 peoples. Pugging is rarely touched by outside world. The custom and tribal culture is still found in pure form. The people are mainly depend on agricultural farming. They reared domestic animals for additional generation of income for their livelihood. Among the animals they reared mithun (Bos frontalis) in good numbers. These animals are offered to almighty in the festival for bumper harvest of crop and well being of the human being. They celebrate many festivals on different occasion. The Solung festival and Etor festival are the two biggest festival for the tribal people of Pugging village.
