Udayan Buddha Vihara is the one of the oldest Buddha temple of the state of Tripura. Situated at Pecharthal (33 km from Kailashahar) adjacent to National Highway NH8, the shrine was established in the year 1933. Hundreds of devotees from nearby regions assemble during Buddha Jayanti in Buddha Purnima in the month of April/May.
