Samparidisa
Samparidisa is a small, eco-friendly village in the Dima Hasao district of Assam, India. It's inhabited by the Dimasa tribe. The village is about 13 km from Haflong, which is also known as the "Scotland of Assam". The state government has declared Samparidisa one of Assam's Swachh villages. The village has a village-level tourism unit, called the VETC, where all households are members. The VETC manages tourism in the village and uses the revenue cooperatively.
