Pogal is a village in the Pogal Paristan Tehsil, Ramsoo Sub-Division, Ramban District. It is about 190 km from Jammu and 36 km from Ramban. The village is connected by a motorable road. Scenic spots include Sargali, Rahoontop, Devhira, Yamultop, Malinsar, Goglidhar, Sharvadhar, Wanbara, and Hansraj Peak, the second-highest peak in the district at 3900m. Malasar is famous for a kidney-shaped freshwater pond and sloping meadows, located 10 km from Pogal. Yamul is a tourist spot en route to Hansraj Peak and Malinsar. Sargali, 22 km from Magerkote, offers a beautiful grassy plateau with stunning views.
