Located in the Upper Subansiri District of Arunachal Pradesh, Nacho a SDO Head Quarter of about 900 people, is nestled among pristine natural surroundings, lush forests, and scenic landscapes. The densely forested hills are separated by streams and rivers Subansiri, which flow mostly towards south and have deep gorges. The landscape of the region allows several species of birds to call it home and is rich in biodiversity.
