Mood, Ladakh

Mood is a village in the Nyoma tehsil of Leh district, Ladakh, India. It is located about 191 km from Leh town, the district headquarters. It is surrounded by barren mountains and dry riverbeds. The village is home to a small community of farmers and herders. The main source of income for the people of Mood is agriculture and animal husbandry. The village is also home to a number of Buddhist monasteries.
