Visitors can indulge themselves into various activities, some of which are, boating experience at Ken River, fishing with the locals in Ken River, cultivation of seeds in the agriculture field, learning organic farming, learning local way of cooking, watching the villagers working the daily chores, see the churning of buttermilk, visit Kali temple in the village, ride a bullock cart, one can get horse riding experience. Basata is connected to various heritage, archaeological and natural sites, some of which are: Ken Ghariyal Sanctuary, Toriya ki Pahadi, Rajgarh Palace, Panna National Park Madla Gate, Bagheshwar Dham.
