Alpana gram at Kapali para situated in the near vicinity of Agartala city has developed as a popular tourist destination recently. This place is famous for the murals drawn on the mud walls. One organisation namely Sanskar Bharati started working with the villagers in collaboration with some Government agencies to enhance the quality of life of the villagers as well to convert the village into a place of aesthetic beauty over a period of last couple of years.
